Opening weekend at the flea market.

I was intending on telling you guys about our trip to the Crater of Diamonds, located in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. Instead I felt compelled to give a special thank you to our customers who made our opening weekend at the Mobile flea market a great opening weekend. The only worry we had was selling out of inventory too quickly, and that’s not a bad worry to have. It was close, but we made it. Don’t fret, we still haven’t even sorted out our Arkansas haul. Leigh is also creating new art as we speak. We’ll be back next weekend, and we’re looking forward to seeing y’all again too. It wouldn’t hurt to bring a friend or two with you.

The sells were great, but I believe I enjoyed talking rocks with folks just as much. Especially the young people. It does my heart good to see so many kids interested in geology. There’s hope for the planet after all. So even if you’re not looking to purchase a little bit of Earth’s history you are more than welcome to come check out our collection and talk a bit. I never get tired of discussing fossils.

Once again, thank you all. We couldn’t do it without you. Have a great afternoon, and I’ll write again soon.
