“Bullet Jewelry”
In case you were wondering, Jaws ended the same way that it did fifty years ago. There’s not much to distract me tonight. Except for a thunderstorm that’s causing the power to flicker on and off. And of course my grand-daughter, but that’s a joyful distraction.
I mentioned on my last entry that if things didn’t pick up at the flea market that we may move out. Well things seemed to pick up this weekend. It looks like we’ll make next months rent at least. I’d like to say that my entry helped, but I don’t think it had all that much to do with it. I’d also like to tell you that the bullet necklaces saved the day, but I only made five of them. They sold pretty quickly so it probably wasn’t them either. It must have been the Mobile weather, 97 degrees and about 85% humidity. That was sarcasm. I do apologize, but it was hot this weekend.
Seriously though, the bullet necklaces sold very well. We’ve decided not only to make more, but we are also going to be offering bullet keychains. Hopefully by the end of the week. I’m also envisioning an entire line of bullet jewelry. We’ll see how things work out.
Keep in mind also that the first of next month we’re going to make a trip to Kentucky again. We should have some new and interesting fossils to offer to y’all. I’m sure I’ll have an interesting story to share with y’all too. For tonight though, I believe I’m done. It’s been a long weekend.
As always thanks for your support, and a big special thanks to the folks that visited the flea market this weekend. Have a great night, and I’ll write again soon.
